One minor complaint. We are clearly coached to box out and let other players come in to get the rebound. But sometimes you have to use your instincts and go get the damn ball. Momcilovic is the worst offender. He lets a ball or two every game go to the other team when it's right in front of him. Go be an athlete! You're 6'8.

I thought Kade played good D when he was in.
He was fine. Did what he was supposed to. People are going to read into that it means TJ hates Nojus. Completely different positions.

Hate to say it but this offense is better without Keshon (at least a not 100% Keshon).
Feels like he hasn't been 100% for quite a while. He was so dominant in the early season that he took us from a 3 seed type team to a 1. Have to think he has lost just enough burst with the injury to make offense a struggle for him in conference play. Hope we don't see him again until the NCAA tournament, and I hope he's close to healthy when we do.

He either needs to get back or go get the ball. In no man’s land a lot

The bigger question is whether Nojus reads into his playing time

Not playing is costing him money. Even at 10 minutes a game, his NIL options would be higher

Good game today. Winning formula for ISU seems pretty simple: don't commit a lot of turnovers and don't get killed on the boards. Maybe a bit of a captain obvious statement, but when we take care of those two things I bet we have a pretty good record.

Really really solid W.

Nothing better than an early Sat W. It makes watching the rest of the games so much more fun.

The best part of a win like that earlyish in the day is it's tie to sit back and take in some potentially good games the rest of the day. Auburn down at home to Bama with 10ish minutes left now.

17 assists. Late shot clock is still an issue, but I thought we attacked the defense much better and made the refs make a call when we had an angle

I'm kinda at the point where I'd take a late shot clock/violation over a turnover and run out for a dunk or transition 3. At least it makes the opponent have to keep defending.

I want Nojus to succeed here. But he’s stuck behind some very good guards right now and him not coming in to play a few minutes at a position he doesn’t play at doesn’t bother me.
