Everybody needs to relax a bit. The staff has their targets and they're executing behind the scenes. Some names will become known (NN) while others won't (for good reason). NWG is a great player and will make a great addition somewhere, but not at Iowa State. That doesn't mean that we don't have other options we're looking at, because we certainly do - some are quite exciting.

Regardless, just relax and know that Fred and crew are working their butts off and things are lining up for another great offseason. You won't see everything that occurs and won't know the decisions or understand the thinking behind some of what does surface, but that isn't a bad thing and you just need to let it go.
You're such a tease

With the exception of NN and Boucher, I would not consider existing options that exciting.

It isn't that ISU couldn't have gotten him. I don't see ISU going after him. In fact, I know ISU won't. Don't think Otz is interested in doing that to Lorenzo Romar.

Is there a not-so-subtle insinuation here or am I reading too much into this?

Thanks for asking for calm and reassuring tone. The season just ended Monday and the open recruiting period just started today. The staff is in the vetting process and will be selective. In fact, other than Nick N. situation I'd assume we may not know who's filling the open roster spots until late May or Summer. Still a fun and exciting couple of weeks as the possibilites become known and clearer.
Patience, we just have to hold off on setting the '16 rosters for a couple of months. :twitcy:

Doesn't make a lot of sense to be honest. I've seen a dozen people do much worse in a business environment this morning alone. Maybe I'm completely immoral, but I don't see how recruiting a guy who left a program on his own accord would be ethically wrong in any way.

I have no concept of what Otz would be doing to Lorenzo Romar in this case, either.
The guy is available. Shouldn't be any professional lack of ethics to pursue him now.

Unless Romar sees ISU as a good fit for NWG, and steers him this direction with his blessing. I know, it's a long shot. A very, very long shot. But it's the only shot we have left to play for NWG.
