Hard not to feel that way. A 3 seed is supposed to win their first game most times, so losing niang makes today a net negative. Not as negative as if we'd given up a loss to a 14 seed, but negative nonetheless.
Was easy to tell he was going to be something special for ISU even last year. Will be one of ISU's greats by the time he is done here.
Who would have thought he could jump high enough to come down on someone's foot?

But seriously, man I feel bad for Georges. Such a great guy. Even answering those questions. I know I would have told the media to get away from me. Just a classy guy. Can't wait to see what he has in store for this program the next two years.

I know there isn't really any one person to be mad at over the injury. The cut on his eye, the broken foot (still playing and scoring after he DID IT!!) I just want to punch someone over it. Someone give me a UNC person to punch please. Dammit this kid is a warrior!!!!!

Slight chance he could play in Final 4 or National Championship. I did the same thing on a run, broke it 1 mile in and finished another almost 2.5 miles. I was done for a week or two before I could hop on the exercise bike. Running was 3-4 weeks out, I was able to go for about a mile or so.
You are letting your emotions get the best of you. They need to put out more effort and more emphasis on defense. It will definitely cut down on our scoring, unless we get hot from three pt. We need to be better on defense, to compensate. We can do it. We did not play a great defensive game tonight.
I am holding out hope for a bad X-ray reading. In high school, I suffered a similar injury. X-ray in small town Iowa said fracture. Went to Des Moines and was informed on second X-ray it was simply a strain.
Too bad this wasn't small town Iowa, then...

I think you are on to something here. It's part of Fred's plan. Georges actually rolled his ankle and will be fine Sunday. Come in and score 32, shooting 5/6 from three (misses the first).
But if he actually did fracture his 5th metatarsal, would he be able to walk? I don't know jack about injuries. What would keep him from playing? It sounds like he wants to play. Could it be career ending if he tried to play?

Fred is dreamy, but not a liar. Niang is out, going to have to battle without him. Team doctor already said he can't play with this injury.
One of my best friends is a UNC fan. We have been planning this matchup since the brackets came out. I will gladly punch him on Sunday. He must be destroyed.
