They actually ask that question all the time when you're at the hospital. Not too dumb of a question as they can take the answer and get professional opinions with it.
Why do I have this feeling Coach is going to have to tie Georges to a chair to keep him out of the game? You can tell how heartbroken and emotionally deflated he is in the interview. I hope for his sake they don't rush anything. Time for others on the bench to step up as well as the other four guys on the floor.

Seriously though, feel terrible for Georges. Not even close to giving up on this team, but Georges was money tonight, and when he's money, we win...
Just going to be a different tourney without having my favorite player playing... (Happened w/ C.Babb last year). That being said, I think Ejim, Hogue, and Thomas step up. I've seen Thomas do some things in the paint that I like, and Hogue has become a beast. 3sus and Thomas need to hit their threes. We've played without Georges before...

I broke my little toe prepping for my Officer Basic Course back in 1998. That wiped out my running for a few weeks, but Georges has the athletic game of an old guy at the Y. He's probably fine already.
No chance that he will play if it is fractured like they are reporting. I'm sure he wants to, but there is no way coach or the trainers are going to let him run around on a fractured 5th metacarpal. The rest of the team needs to step up.
He'd be able to run around easily if he had a fractured 5th metacarpal, as that would be in the pinky of his hand. However, he fractured his 5th metatarsal, which is in his foot...
If a fractured metacarpal affected his running and jumping, he's less athletic than anyone ever thought, but a sort of feel-good story for working around that sort of running issue.
Unless you are not at the hospital, have already been diagnosed and you know it's broken. It's not like his pain factor at this point changes the diagnosis. Too bad these guys are reporters and not doctors, maybe they could do something with that information.
