No SEC we would take care of business in the big 12 with 22 more schollys. Sell fargo? Culture of winning, loudest stadium in the nation, 30 miles from 1000 lakes and beaches in the summer. (Isu, KU, KSU, OKLA, TCU don't have that) strong economy for jobs, Oil money. Downtown party scene with 30,000 area college students at 50 bars.
Fargo has a summer? What is it, 10 days long? It's hard enough getting kids from Texas/Florida/California to come to ISU, it will be even harder to get them to damn near Canada.

30,000 college students? That's cute. I remember when I thought FCS was big time...

Come on Lakes, I don't really have a problem with you posting here, in fact I find you quite entertaining at times. However, you are in over your head if you think NDSU could step into the Big 12 and compete from day one.

See my previous post. No, no you would not. Unless winning 1 or 2 conf games max is "taking care of business."

loudest stadium in the nation.

Might be the dumbest thing I've ever heard online and that is saying something. Have you ever heard of realism in your life?

Fargo, ND - 30 miles from 1000 lakes and beaches in the summer. Downtown party scene with 30,000 area college students at 50 bars.

Just. stop.

In all seriousness, if NDSU is serious about making a jump to FBS in football, they should invest in a new stadium.

Until then, this topic is not worth discussing.

I like how you're just right up front and make one of the selling points of Fargo "it's close to Minnesota".

If the Fargodome is 120 dbs, then Hilton Coliseum is 150 dbs.
Just a couple thousand less people in an area about 1/3 the size, in a solid concrete structure and solid steel doors to hold in the sound.

Can you imagine Hilton with a metal ceiling instead of wooden baffles?

Based on Lake Biso I would have thought the Fargodome would have had way more than 120 D Bags...
