TICKET NEWS:

Section G has now opened up. The stadium is begining to warm up to visitors. I know a lot of hotel rooms are already booked as well. If any of you are expecting guests for the Big Game you might want to get a room now, if you need one. The BISON fans will fill up the town. Same for dinner reservations etc. Just a heads up!

Where are you seeing this?

"Bison will fill up the town". You make me laugh. Your stadium only seats 19,000*. You may get a good turnout but filling up the town is unlikely; filling in the corners - since ISU fans fill up the town - is more likely.

*Hilton Coliseum seats less than 4,650 fewer for basketball.

Rep for use of the term "yutz".

Why thank you. :)

I'm not Jewish, but the Yiddish words yutz and schmuck are my two "go to" pejoratives...IRL as well as on line. Fun to see people blink & say "huh?" Oddly enough, ESPN would not let me use schmuck...it was an expletive deleted in their forums.

Doesn't mean he is knowledgable. JBB, can you just shut up? You are giving us Fargo residents a bad rap.

Haha. I would actually like to pre-apologize to Bison fans that come to Ames. Because JBB & lakebison have been running their mouth, I'm going to automatically not like any Bison fan I see tailgating or at the game. Which is really too bad because I'm sure there are some that are fun to hang out with.

JBB & lakebison, do your fans a favor and where a T-shirt with "JBB" & "lakebison" printed on the front, so we all know who to dislike.

With the purpose of the thread to keep Iowa State fans informed about NDSU and its football team leading up to the big game in August its all relevant.

NDSU strength coach is nationally renowned as is his coaching staff and methods. We will have a very strong team well versed in the execution of the fundimentals.

Big?

Okey dokey...

So much truth to this. Growing up, I had an uncle that was an NDSU alum and avid bison fan. For the longest time I was a pseudo-fan of the Bison and enjoyed seeing them do well. After reading these long winded posts from JBB and lakebison (coupled with the new mentality of bison fans claiming they are a "dynasty" now) I have nothing be disdain for the NDSU faithful.

Where are you seeing this?

Stub Hub for Iowa State football. You can also simply google and find some other outlets. Ebay is always a going cocern for big game tickets.

No consensus on where to start the statistical analysis for next years game? Im going with the combined statistics for the two common opponents: UNI & KSU.

From there I think certain adjustments, based on object analysis, can be made to accurately predict the outcome of the "Big Game".

WiTh all the basketball excitement (NDSU is in) football news is hard to come by like early football tickets. It's starting to look like our group of 9 will be in section B for the big game. It will be in the national spot lite.

NDSU is projected by some to face UConn in the first rnd of the NCAA BB tournament. ISU is in an opposite bracket so they would have to make it to the finals (round of 4) to get a game with The BISON. I'm not sure the Cyclones will get that far?

We are just a few weeks out from spring practice. KSU sent observers up to watch our practices. This forced the head coach to close them. Not welcome news to a fan base that had free access to the practices. The media whinned as well. I expect the policy will be in place this season, especially with the big game against The Cyclones. Nothing those ISU coaches want more than a chance to watch The BISON practice.

It will be a big game but, in this day and age, would a BISON win be considered an upset?

I think I would be a little more concerned with the bison making it past UConn... if that is how the bracket plays out, what's your prediction? 118-42 Bison victory?

Re: NDSU v Iowa State 2014 (after NDSU wins 3rd title & 43-2!)

embarassment of what?

NDSU returns much of their vaunted Defense and 1000 RB and WR, the talent is still here, ISU is a big question mark.

I think the Game Analyzing Machine calculates NDSU to win 92-67. The Game Analyzing Machine determined that the Bison's PPG/PPGA in the mighty Summit league are better numbers than what UCONN did in the Big East.

You just blew your cover with that post.
At first, I thought you were just a little slow, but now I see you are a lot slow. Like a hawk troll.

Perhaps you should try substituting "putz". I have a buddy who ended up with this as his most common nickname.
