Re: NDSU v Iowa State 2014 (after NDSU wins 3rd title & 43-2!)

My first thread is gunna be "Iowa St should move to FCS, so they can finally beat KState and other FBS teams regularly, and have College Gameday come to Ames."

Look what I found! http://www.sbnation.com/college-foot...les-best-worst

Iowa State and West Virginia are aiming for bounce-backs after finishing under .500 in 2013, but getting ahead on that goal through the non-conference schedule won't be easy. The Cyclones play at rival Iowa and have the unenviable task of hosting FCS power North Dakota State. The three-time defending national champion Bison have beaten an FBS team in each of the last four seasons and opened 2013 with a victory at Kansas State

NDSU hasnt ever relied on transfers. I cant even rember a JUCO transfer? I think we do have a running back transfer from Valley City State University. I think they are D3 or NSIC?

NDSU, with the great facilities and background, likes to recruit and develop players. Thats one of the main advantages NDSU has had since moving up to D1 football, FCS division of course. NDSU has always understood what type of player it takes to be successful in D1 and we have a pretty good roster to show for our good recruiting and excellent coaching.

Right now I imagine the football team is sticking to their diets (being a Mighty Land Grant we have the best food and nutrition coaches) and working out. I have already posted a link honoring our very capable, and nationally renowned, strength and conditioning coach and staff.

Our facilities are nothing like yours, and your seemingly unlimited wealth, but we do have what we need to be successful. We like to point to our 3 consecutive national championships and for this game, the results from last years 2 common opponents.

Right now its all basketball. NDSU has won the Summit League and has a bye in the league tournament being held in Sioux Falls, SD this weekend. This is the 12 most attended league tournament in the nation (you might want to google that) and it seems the consensus has NDSU winning against Denver on Monday night.

Look out! The BISON are getting some attention as a good cinderella pick in this years tournament:

Analysis: 10 'giant killers' to watch for NCAA tourney | FOX Sports on MSN

I'll post links for the BISON game tournament stream when I get the information. Until then you can try the Summit League website:

Really? When I ran the Game Analyzer Mechanism, it had Iowa State in a favorable outcome of 42.7/18.9. Have you tweaked the Statistical Anomoly Gadget to account for the missing Yardage to Footage Difference?

Indeed I have

It looks to me like you may have overdone your adjustments?

Just as soon as this basketball tournament is over Ill start to introduce the variables and we can discuss them with regard to final adjustments (using last seasons stats either by common opponent or overall) as the baseline, adjusting from their with any gadget we see fit. The GAM, it gives you a leg up, will tell us the outcome.

Just remember: Garbage in Garbage out! :twitcy:
