How well is Jacobson going to guard a wing if a team goes 4-1 or 5-0 on us, though, and stretches the heck out of our defense and makes our big men uncomfortable?
We are so dangerous on offense and offense right not because we have so many wings that have the bulk (THT), length (really all of them), guile (Nick, Shayok, TH), or athleticism (Wigginton) to guard just about anybody smaller than Azubuike anywhere on the floor. We are switch-tastic on the outside. It makes the whole system flow so beautifully on both ends.
We defend well because it is really hard to create a match-up problem on us.
Jacobson at the 4 gives you uncertain benefits on offense and probably a downgrade on defense, though I could see the case it would help with rebounding.
