Anyone else think we have a better chance of beating WVU than Kansas? WVU's D is as bad as Baylor's and it looks like Kansas is starting to put a few things together. Also...WVU @ home; @ Kansas.

We are in big trouble for both of those games. Our O is not playing well and our D can't seem to get it together without Knott. Our D is still okay, despite not really stopping Texas since the first series.. but our O needs the D to play lights out.
This is a good point. Our run defense sucks because we're playing off-kilter. KU is going to come out running because its all they can do. Without threat of the pass, we're looking at a better match up against KU.

Yep. I came out of the Oklahoma game feeling pretty good even though we lost. Today though... wow. We didn't belong on the field.

If we would have played KU and Texas earlier in the season I think that we might have knocked them both off.
We should definitely be able to line up to tee off against the run. Heading into this game, KU was averaging just 161 yards passing. Then 9th ranked pass offense was averaging 53 more ypg.
But their rush offense is damn good, and I didn't like the way Texas was able to run it right down our throats most of the day. We need to shore things up in a hurry, or we could miss a bowl game after starting 4-1.
I assume I'm not the only one watching the OSU-WVU game. My God...WVU is getting thrashed, and it looks like Gino has lost ALL confidence.

Only Iowa State fans would be talking about a 9 loss and 1 SDSU Jackrabbits win team as an automatic loss. I understand why, but it's still pretty out there.
On one hand our downer fans are saying we should just ignore a comfortable win against Baylor...because Baylor sucks. But we also have to ignore that Baylor blew out KU seven days ago and now KU is a juggernaut.
