ISU has much better crowd support, Minnesota has a better stadium, ISU has better weight and locker room facilities, both have good coaches leading their programs.
I'd say the programs are pretty equal. Minnesota benefits from a much easier schedule, and has been worse than ISU since Rhoads got here.
Those national titles are completely and totally irrelevant.
Also, Jeff Jones just wants another hat to put up when he picks Minnesota IMO and I have no problem with the coaches cutting off his recruitment if he isn't returning their calls. Warren is going to be just as good at the D1 level as Jones will be and ISU really doesn't have room for a 3rd RB this class or a 7th RB on the roster for that matter. We should know that having 4 talented RBs on a roster isn't really all that helpful after last year. I would have traded one for an equally talented DT, CB, LB, OL, ect.
Not to mention not many RBs are going to want to be a part of a 3 RB class, they will likely want to be "The Guy".
