Roy crew made a mistake.1.6 seconds. You have the ball. Why inbounds the ball there? You need the time out right away. And then the kid with less than 2 seconds thinks he can dribble 3 times to midcourt AND call the timeout then? Dumb.
Made up an 8 point deficit in less than 90 seconds. That is evan a better pace than last year's 13 points in 3 minutes against Ohio State!
Before we give Kane too much credit, keep in mind that he missed a wide open Naz Long in the corner and forgot to cover the out of bounds pass after his final layup.
I know. Reprimand to self.
You should.

Funny, I was just reading the UNC forums... they all felt like they were getting hosed by the refs... Easy to smile now... but that's exactly how I felt! I don't see why they are so upset about the end of the game. They made the mistake of trying to dribble the ball to the half court with only 1.6 seconds left...
I enjoyed when Steve Kerr was basically writing our obituary with about 4 minutes left.
Shhhh! ISU game on SportsCenter.

You talking about Kane's shot? Because I'm pretty sure he didn't take an extra step. You could make the argument that he possibly carried it during the drive but he didn't take an extra step.so glad they didn't call the obvious travel. i've watched the play about 25 times and he clearly took an extra step.
but for once we do the kicking!
if you look closely at the post game video on cyclones.com or ISU Athletics on facebook you'll see ISU walk in to the tunnel and Memphis was on the other side. The look they had they know they are going to get destroyed. But first, UCONN must be destroyed (again).

huh? Memphis wasn't at the San Antonio site. Baylor/Creighton was the San Antonio game after ISU.
I think you meant Creighton facing certain doom against Baylor. Memphis was playing in Raleigh against Virginia that evening.
