This sucks, i hate losing to Iowa, but hopefully this opens our eyes to see what we really need to do to change this program...along with the football mess, its a rough night...it still hasnt even brought me off the high of the volleyball team winning...

Pop in a tape and watch the toughness and strength of the Tinsley/Fizer era compared to the mess we have this year. Stunning.

yes. There was a 30 second TO called after UI scored the first 8 points. (to make it 42-32).

TOs aren't a magic cure, as some here seem to think.

I'm sorry, but I can't agree with you at all. The post is the only place he is effective. The problem is he thinks catching the ball 15 feet from the basket calls for a post move. And the part that really bothers me is that the coaching staff hasn't gotten this through his head yet, and they don't put his *** on the bench when he does crap like that.

That is the touchstone and standard for everything that has come since. I wonder if I will live long enough to see the likes of that season again.

no but Greg would rather wait for a media timeout than to try & stop any momentum that the other team has going -- maybe by calling a timeout he could possibly setup a play for the offensive end or make an adjustment on the defensive end but that seems too difficult of a concept for him -- does Wayne State have a coaching vacancy?

Agreed. But you have to ask yourself "why not us?" Why can't we maintain a commitment to excellence? If we settle for less, that's what we will get.

I also say bench him. Craig needs to get rid of that scowl on his face. He's frustrated and he's letting everyone know it including the opposing team. Then he keeps doing the same crappy things over and over again (forcing terrible shots) and gets even more frustrated. That's not going to instill confidence in his teammates. Sometimes you just got to take what the defense gives you. I'd rather have Lucca launch a desperation 3 than have Brackins force up a fade-away from 15 feet.

Drake has a first year coach......Iowa has a second year coach.....we have a third year coach. No more excuses please.
