I am tired of the coaches making the same mistakes over and over. We can't score, we cant stop penetration, we get dominated in the paint. Maybe it is time we dtich the 4 guards and CB look.

We take stupid shots and are not physical.

quote=cybsball20;769931]Does this mean people aren't supposed to just stand around?
I think so. They did very good against Drake when they moved around. Heck tonight they were all standing in the same spot half the game, at both ends of the court.

quote=URBCLONE;769934]Lineup changes? What the two walkon approach isn't working at the Big 12 level? Who will see more playing time? Boozer and Lee? Ok, I guess....
Pete is one of the better players on the team. The freshmen will Boozer and Lee will see the court more. What is that going to hurt. Boz his a 3 and he is a big body and physical. Someone needs to push the starters.

The guys we're playing can't stop ball handlers from dribbling past them, and some people are lobbying for more Charles Boozer.

Oookay.

Coach Lick has his guys playing smart ball despite the inexperience. They seem to be on the same page as a team and know their roles. They are going to be in a lot of Big 10 games this year.

What coach Lickliter is accomplishing is what I expected from McDermott in his early years. Instead, it's been slop followed by a bunch of excuses.

I live and breath ISU athletics especially MBB....I just didn't even care about the game tonight. I didn't yell, I didn't get into a fight with my wife for being a jerk after a loss. I'm just numb.

This team is going to have to really turn it around because my frustration has turned to apathy...real, true apathy. This makes me sad.

I'm with you Mustang. Nothing broken, no arguments (at least not because of BB). Apathy. Complete, utter, total apathy. The house that Johnny, Tim, and LE built has collapsed.

LE did put a big crack in the foundation.

First of all nice guys finish last. Coach Mac said that our team is to nice and do not know killer instinct and how to finish off teams. Well Coach that is where you come in sir you need to instill that in those boys!!!! I think you do not even have that yourself after tonights performance to look like you had no idea what to do. If you do not have that then how the hell are the players going to know that???? ding ding ding they don't. Nice to know ya, go back to Cedar Falls where you belong and take Pollard with ya. I am not into spending money on hope and bullcrap season's from football and basketball. Just down right bull, and to not know how to rebound?? that is fundamentals, does anyone on the team yell shot!!! Hey guys look for someone to block out and stop looking at the freakin ball!!!!! Eustachy and McCarney were not all that bad huh??

That was a pitiful, shameful lack of anything

in 2nd half. Il take the hits on here for ripping people that said Isu would get schlacked. Brackins was...uh..i dont know what to say. The one bright spot was Hamilton he made some shocking athletic and effort plays. Staiger was ok . Garrett turned the ball over too much but still was ok as was Eikmeier. Petey was ok too. The team had no leadership and got way too panicky to start 2nd half. Eveyone was looking for a take charge leader to calm em n lead em . Iowa played a freak game, Davis, peterson bawinkel, tate all had career games. i hate when people talkbout past situations but it is so obvious this team needs wesley johnson. With him or a similar type player we would be undeafted so far. Also was glad to see Buckley, he was awesome on those in ur face, return penetrating drives for layups.

McDermott said we had the game where we wanted it at halftime. He compared the beginning of the second half to the last seven minutes of the Drake game. He said we may see more minutes from guys like Boozer and Cam Lee because of their toughness level...

B.S! I'll believe it when I see it! Coach needs to look in the mirror!

Garrett is horrible!! He makes STUPID drives to the basket where he does not beat his guy but keeps his guy on his hip. Then the double team comes and he just keeps dribbling in one place until someone pokes the ball away from him. The only assists DG gets are passing it to a shooter outside that is open. He makes terrible entry passes to WAY out of position brackins. DG makes some the of WORST decisions that I have seen on the court. This team can not function with him at the point.

Sad, but true....I feel myself slowly sliding toward apathy.

Rick Brown was saying on Jon Millers show today how CB doesn't give the ball up when he gets it inside...wow was he ever right!!! He had some wide open shooters tonight and put up some stupid shots.

I knew we would lose tonight, but not in that fashion. If Lick wanted to, they could have won by 30. Lick can flat out coach!!!
