Saturday, ISU will have the largest number of football fans cheering on the Clones in program history. All around the country, only Big 10 fans will not be cheering on the Cyclones. When was the last time ISU had that type of nationwide support? Come on Clones! Shove all the Hawkeye and Big 10 noses into the grass of Kinnick Stadium!

I wish this were true but I feel like most people don't put themselves through the pain of watching B1G football unless they have to

I dont know if the rest of the country cares about downing the big 10 as much as they would downing the SEC.

Interested on where you came up with this thought? Night of drinking? Darts? Asked your 5yr old niece? Please tell me if I'm close.

I can just imagine there's a guy in Kentucky right now saying "Daisy Mabel, I just can't wait for that Ioway-Ioway State game to start on Saturday. I'm gonna have to get my possum huntin done early so I can watch it on the telervision".

The OP just believes the country can spot vermin when they see it. Seems reasonable to me.

I also heard that in Oregon they are having huge gamewatches all over town to cheer on them beloved Cyclones.

All around the country.......or 90% of viewers will be in the state. One of those probably accurate. It is a hige deal here, but outside the state nobody cares unless you are a fan of either team

My brother lives in California and he is telling me that they are all pulling for iowa..

Of course, he went to iowa so I'm not sure about his objectivity on the subject....

actually in Oregon....yes, huge gamewatch here. Cyclones are beloved here....especially with Duck fans who appreciated the OSU upset a few years back....and Beaver fans like the Cyclones too, for the similarities in the schools (state, ag/engineering school).

Fairly profound on your part...lol.

You'll have to excuse me as I laugh that the state of Oregon gives a crap about Iowa/Iowa State. You may care, but sadly you don't count for the entire state.
