As far as this thread being about recruiting, and the 3 initial names out there Prohm is going after, I'm not sure what else is expected. Are there better transfers available? Will we even have a chance at them considering the programs we'd be going up against? I'm just confused over what some of you are expecting.

Do we really think that colleges are going to be able to afford to do that? Bills have to be paid at some point and the tolerance for the general public of this in March is going to be way different in September. I hope the government has a plan.

After listening to the briefings and all the lies/contradictions that are coming out on a daily basis, does it look like this government has a plan? Florida's governor is telling people that "that asymptomatic people cannot test positive."

I see three names we are looking at. If we fill 3 or even 4 (assuming Tyrese declares for the NBA) we would love to get 4 starter quality players, but I don't expect that and it is likely unrealistic anyway. What are we trying to accomplish to win more games?

We talk about getting bigger, older (really means get wiser, stronger, tougher) and better shooting. If I had three quick things I could add: a true point guard with ball security that can pass play D and penetrate, to allow Bolton to move to the 2. We need a three that can slash and rebound. I miss the athletic 6'5"-6'7" or taller guy. In the old days think Mark Baugh/Elmer Robinson or more recent the Dustin Hogue/Ejim mold. They need to be able to put the ball on the floor going to the hoop. Would love for them to at least be respectable from 3, but have to be able to hit a pull up shorter J, play D and rebound! Then I want a Big that can battle on the boards. I know not asking for much. If we get the 4th I am all in on a dead eye shooter.

These first three grad transfers we might be looking at and have a chance at aren't the three we will end up with as they are really focused on the first, and maybe the 4th need. they don't seem to help with the second or the third. Get older? Yes. Get smarter? we hope. Handle the point? Not sure. Shoot better? 2 of them likely yes, and one it doesn't seem so from stats only view.

There needs to be a sad rating on here for posts like this.

The people, like you, that are still supporting this program with Prohm in charge are part of the problem.

So you are asking people to stop supporting and cheering for one of our Iowa State sports teams. Yeah, that's logical. To be frank, those who support Iowa State through thick and thin will NEVER be the problem. Quite the opposite, actually.

Easy coming from a Prohm lover. Feel free to continue to cheer on mediocrity. The real honor in being a fan is wanting the best for your team. The best for this team is parting ways with the black hole sucking the life out of this fan base and program.

Of everyone that thinks Prohm is the wrong fit, you’re the first I’ve seen that hopes we suck next year, CloneFan4. Glad there’s one true fan left. All the others hoping for a good season despite their feelings for the coach just don’t care.

This is going to be a long offseason with nothing but people with time at home, already feeling frustrated, and nothing better to do than complain about a future college sports season that has a very real chance of not actually happening at all.

Now that would make me sad.

Aiken 6'0"
Bolton 6'3"
Ellis 6'6"
Johnson 6'6"
Young 6'8"

With a bench of

Jackson 6'1"
Carton 6'2"
Conditt 6'10"
Foster 7'0"

I would feel pretty good about that lineup, but I also wouldn't put all my chips in Prohm making this work. That's 4 pretty big names he has to still get.

Just my ten cents.......but unless he is in foul trouble or recovering from an injury, Carton is not coming off the bench.

Right now I would say low, we are going off a Twitter follow...I wouldn’t get your hopes up...who knows

With mental health issues, I wouldn't be shocked if he wants to come back to Iowa.

Iowa probably wouldn't be able to take him, and he'd be crazy to choose UNI or Drake over ISU.
