I listened to this song so many times as a teenager, I can still recite most of the lyrics today.

Definitely NSFW

My producer slam my flow is like bam
Jump on stage ah then I dip down

Song and Artist?

My favorite from my youth was the Fat Boys (Now there was just one day that I'll never forget; got jailed for something that I'll always regret).

Someone mentioned Naughty By Nature. My kids go to Southeast Polk - my oldest daughter and I have pink t-shirts that say on the front:"You down with SEP?"

On the back - "yeah, you know me"

Well you know what OPP stood for right?

I'm trying to think of something filthy that SEP would stand for.

Edit:
I'm going to go with Someone Else's *****
Instead of the original Other People's *****

I suppose being from Iowa, you have to mention TLC. Wasn't fan but one was from DM.

Holy ****. I did not know T-Boz was born in Des Moines.

I think the only one that was not guessed was: I'm not watered down so I'm dying of thirst.

Onyx - "Slam", pretty much the precursors to DMX

Great job by everyone on this thread! If this has taught me anything, it is that Carvers, Angie, and Klamath might be the flyest girls on this site!

Now for something a bit different. I'll post either some more obscure artists, or lesser known hits by famous artists. Please share some of yours as well. Maybe I'll see something new to me. I already posted "This DJ" by Warren G.

De La Soul was famous for "Me, Myself, and I" but I also enjoyed Breakadawn:

I'm sure everyone remembers 3rd Bass "Pop goes the Weasel", but another good one was "Product of the Environment". DJ Richie Rich really shines on that track! Nowadays, Pete Nice got in trouble with the law over selling counterfeit sports memorabilia, MC Serch had a talk show for a while (not sure if still on the air), and I have no clue what DJ Richie Rich is doing.

Now this is a story all about how
My life got flipped
Turned upside down.

Easy one, but haven't seen one from him yet.

Anyone a fan of Mad Lion who used to run with KRS One's crew? "Take it Easy" and "Shoot to kill" were a couple of his hits. A bit more on the Reggae/Rap spectrum, but still great:
