I wasn't really around for Cato. What does he bring?
Shot blocking, intimidation, and thunderous dunks.
I think Fizer's the one for this team, but Cato would be fun.

Fizer could shoot at least a little bit as I recall. Give me Fizer all day, guy could rebound, score almost at will, and D-up. He'd fit extremely well at a position of need. Could go small ball and roll Fizer out at the 5, or Kunc etc.I'd go Niang personally since we need help scoring more than defense. Fizer wouldn't stretch the floor like Niang.
Not sure how much our defense would suffer though.. Could throw off Otz/Green's defense

Brackins is a nice pull. I can't remember how he was defensively, but he was a great scorer and could shoot it. His length would fit in well alsoGotta be a big, purely from a depth perspective. Cato, Fizer, or for a nice inside scoring touch, Craig Brackins.
I had that thought, too. Maybe it's just because Kalscheur is struggling right now, but Babb seemed much more reliable as a shooter. Could be because of the difference in the 3-point line. They are a lot alike defensively.Respectfully disagree. We already have a couple 6'4'' 2 guards in the Babb mold. Kalscheur and Babb are the same player basically. Plus Chris never shot from the current 3 pt range.
We need a guy that can create a shot whenever he damn well feels like it. AND isn't a liability on defense. So my vote is Grayer, or Fizer.
Just watched a video of him and was reminded he led the team in scoring, rebounding, assists, blocks and steals. ISU played eventual champions Kentucky in the Tourney. They had two lottery picks and the commentators said Royce was the best player on the floor.Royce lost an MMA match last week, surprised it wasn't thread worthy here.

How about "Point-a-Minute" Lafester Rhodes? Dropped 54 on Iowa.Sam Hill or Ron Falenchek.
Actually, Royce was the one who said that.![]()
Where is Cato now?
His Wikipedia says he signed a six-year $42m contract at one point, seems to have finished the deal. Wow, I wouldn’t have known.Saw on his Instagram that he ate an 860 dollar gold leaf steak the other day. Seems he's doing just fine lol.
