Sometimes I see on-air people from WHO at the fast food places on Ingersoll where I get lunch. I spotted B-Ross at Taco Johns explaining his name to the cashier who wanted to write it on a receipt, multiple weather girls, Dan Winters, and another reporter at Quiznos.

That was like the highlight of my life.

Maybe you're thinking of John Mcglaughlin( i might be butchering his name). I had a then meteorologist from KCCI come to our high school for a career day and basically say that working for him was hard and you could tell he wanted to say more. Also he had a fishing show on mediacom at some point. His kids were on the boat with him and not into fishing at all and you could tell he wanted to blow up but he couldn't since he was filming. But hey I could be wrong, but he always struck me as a bit of a jerk.

Dan Winters is a cyclone. Last year at the first game of the year he called me from the helicopter asked where we were and had the camera man zoom in on us while we were outside the Nike apparel tent.

He went to an Iowa juco (sorry, don't remember which one). He was in the Capital City League last year, and B-Ross came to several games to watch him play.
