Yeah walk-ons:
Ellerman
Fowler
McBeth
Law
Law isn't currently listed on cyclones.com. Is he leaving the team?
Haven't looked, but don't think you're accurate.
Regardless, I highly doubt Fred is freaking out today, scrambling around looking for a scholarship for Kane, so I don't think any of us should either.

Marcus Smart might have something to say about that.
Do Bubu's parents still work for the University? Can he go off scholarship and still go to school for free?
While I'd never say Niang is a better player than Smart, I'd argue he is every bit as valuable as Smart because of his high basketball IQ, unselfishness, and all around ability in the clutch. Call me crazy and I know Smart will be a lottery pick, but I wouldn't trade Niang for Smart.
Man you'd think people would actually know who is on the team. I can't remember how many times we've said Ellerman, Law, and Fowler were walk-ons. Although I didn't hear about Law leaving the team.
Anyone have a link to some Kane video? All I could find on youtube was some 10 sec videos shot with a broken cellphone of a TV.
I'd trade Niang for Smart any day of the week.
man, I really hope we're picked 8th a third straight season because barring some catastrophic injuries there's absolutely no way we finish lower than fifth, really I'd be quite surpised if we're any lower than 4th. Returning the league's most dominant rebounder, returning the league's best sophomore, the nation's most dominant mascot, adding a proven point/combo guard, and bringing in one of the Big 12's best recruiting class...plus Hilton is always Hilton. PUMPED.
I'd trade Niang for Smart any day of the week.
we have 15 on the cyclones.com roster. 15 players is max, 13 scholly.
Check again.
Someone needs to make shirts!Haven't looked, but don't think you're accurate.

Probably not as good in the NBA as Smart, no. But I could see Niang being a terrific role player in the NBA for at least 10 years. Hell, Ryan Bowen lasted that long. And you'd have Smart for one more year and Niang for at least 2 or 3. Yes Smart has more raw ability and Niang will never be the NBA player Smart will be, but as a college player in our system, I'd still take Niang.
