For those more technically astute.
Why wasn't TD an NFL star, or anywhere near????
Fwiw. He dated a fellow Pizzapitter phone gal during his ISU tenure.
Showed up at the Pit, occassionally.
Nice guy....and yeah, I'm in the wrong thread!
Ps. Great on you, Eagle Scott David!
He reportedly scored a 6 on the Wonderlic test. He probably couldn't learn an NFL playbook.

I think it was more that he didn't have the raw speed to compensate for his lack of size. Similar to Archie Griffin from Ohio St in the 70s. 2 Heismans but little NFL success. But, I'll admit I was surprised he didn't have a great NFL career.

I've never seen a fan-base get so un-hinged about a noon kickoff. It's so pathetic, it begs psychological analysis.
Coming from the other side of the argument, most of my inlaws are hardcore Buckeyes. They don't mind noon games, but because of the way Fox does Big Noon, virtually every home game they have is at noon. They never get night games at home anymore. I get why they want a different time slot occasionally. It's not really that pathetic, honestly. I think most of our fans would be upset if EVERY home game was an 11 AM kick.

The only kick times I'm going to complain about are the "after-dark" ones like the BYU game a couple years ago. That game didn't kick off until about 9:30 (and we missed the first touchdown because the previous game ran late).

Lots of content…

Wouldn't it be nice to get to a point where you lose track of where all the Cyclones are playing in the NFL and some names will pop up that you don't even remember played for ISU? I just think of fans of teams like Georgia and Alabama, where that has to happen once or twice, where a second team guy who rarely played winds up on an NFL team and when the announcers say he played at your school, you say, "REALLY?" If such a thing happened at ISU, it could only mean good things are happening on the football field.
