Big 12 games: 5 at home and 4 on the road

Season schedule: 3 games, bye, 3 games, bye, 3 games, bye, 3 games, ???

I'm loving next season's schedule! It can't get much better.
In the 2025 season, ISU has 4 Big 12 home games and 5 on the road.

My bad.

Actually, ISU has 4 Big 12 home games, 4 on the road, and 1 neutral site. While KState is technically considered the home team in Ireland, it's a neutral game.

KSU being considered the home team is a solid win for the good guys. They give up a home game, we don't.

Absolutely. In fact, I heard Jamie say that if we were the school being asked to give up a home game to play in Ireland we probably wouldn't have done it.

That would've been a tough decision and a lot of number crunching for the AD to make a call.

Another throwback from Mike Green. Who was there?

We had a group of four. Other than playing in a baseball stadium, that ended up being one of the best bowl game experiences. Hung out all day in the sun at Alice Cooper’s.

I think we were all on a site called FansOnly? that preceded this site and Rivals. Those Pitt fans were so cocky, but we told them Dan Marino was not walking through the door anytime soon.

A buddy and I walked into a nice restaurant on that trip and was promptly told told— “Sorry, we’re booked and you’d need a reservation”. I told her I was Dan McCarney, Iowa State Cyclones. “Right this way sirs”. My buddy laughed that anyone would buy that but nonetheless we had a great dinner.

The older brother of my best friend at the time played for the Pitt NC team. Oddly the game didn't humble him. The fan turnout did.
