Happy for Grill. I hope he’s really 100%.

On Bird: it was so sad to see that guy lay on his stomach at the end of the bench during playoff games. Sports are tough on the ol’ bod.

who guards Johnson? Is Gabe tall enough? Or does Gabe have to guard Nowell?
If TJ opts for man defense, I'm guessing Watson gets a lot of run covering Johnson. Gabe has a huge length advantage on Nowell and should probably cover him a good portion of the game.

Without Grill’s perimeter defense presence, Otz Might try more of the 1-3-1 zone. K-State is not a big 3 pt shooting team (currently 263rd in nation in 3 pt attempt rate and 108th in 3 pt % at 35%) and forcing them into 3 pt attempts could be a good strategy. Ward can definitely make an impact playing the top of the 1-3-1 zone.

Hmmm all the sudden k state can’t miss from three. U had to say it didn’t ya

I hope it’s not spondylolysis, my daughter played basketball through college…she had this issue ( started in 8th grade)...nagging pain, sometimes in tears..she had to be in a back brace for 6 weeks straight…only taking off for showers and sleeping..it’s like a stress fracture in your spine..I know how bad it can be on a player ,so praying it’s not that
