Bummer. My first memories of college hoops were Bill Walton's great UCLA teams. They had something like a 90 game win streak broken against Notre Dame on a nationally televised game.

My thought exactly. In his first interview after it was announced UCLA was leaving the Pac 12 you could tell he was heartbroken. I can't find the video but he basically said "I love the Pac 12" and looked away and couldn't muster anything else.That Walton died a day after one of the things we was most passionate about ended.
Bill Walton didn’t want to live in a world without the Pac and now he won’t.
