week two starting off a little better. still felt like throwing up after the pushup/chinup workout, but not quite as sore today.

did cardio instead of plyo last week. heard the plyo can be quite a *****, guess I'll find out tonight.
Just make sure you don't eat at least 3 hours before you do it, or it's puke city.

Just did my first core synergistics session last night. I was a little surprised how tough some of the moves were. I was sweating like crazy with this one. Definitely enjoyed it though.

It took me about 1/2 way through phase 3 unitl I didn't feel like throwing up after a couple of the workouts. Now Plyo isn't bad and I feel like I push really hard at times vs. just tyring to keep up.

After 2.5 months.....I still get sore. Not near as bad but here and there I feel it.

I'm going to start mine here in a few weeks for the summer and hopefully come back to school looking good! Is the diet plan hard to keep up with because I heard from a friend that you don't really eat anything haha.

plyo was definitely the strongest cardio of any of the workouts.

If you eat the right things, you will not go hungry. Trust me, 2000 -2500 calories of good meats, veggies, and others stuff 5-6 times per day will be more than enough. If it's not they you must be a big ol Hoss. If that's the case then up your calories accordingly. 3000+.

It's the drink of choice....not water:jimlad:.

Honestly, it's not prefered but moderation is the key if you just have to have one....or two....or three....or....

I'm on week 8 now, and I definately needed the break. Can't believe the results I'm getting. I've lifted in weight rooms for about 12 years and haven't had results like this.

Side note: Anyone take a pre-workout supplement. I've been taking Fusion with NO2C for the last few weeks and love the pump I'm getting. Although it can make me lightheaded on legs and back day.

This questioned may have been answered but other than the DVD's what other stuff do you need. I have seen some users are using dumb bells, chin up bars, etc...

Also what does the P90x cost and where is the best place to buy it? This thread definitely has got me interested. I run 3-4 miles a day but that gets boring some days.

I use an IronGym pull-up bar and PowerBlock dumbells. I would also recommend a yoga block, but I actually use a basketball instead (not even close to ideal).

I recommend the nutrition guide as well - it has played a key role in my results.

I purchased directly from Beachbody online. I got everything I needed and I figured it's still a pretty good deal (compared with the cost of a full home gym or gym membership).

door hanging chinup bar w/ wide holds

pushup bars (really saves the wrists for me)

yoga mat/block - odd feeling buying these, lol. didn't get the block at first but got it right after the first time I tried to do some of that stuff.

two resistance bands - started with just a medium which is good for 80% of the exercises right now, picked up a heavy band for the rest. much more flexibility in 'weight' than just a few sets dumbells. and cheaper.

probably a little over $100 on top of the dvds which can be had for <60 if you look around.

I don't use a pre workout suppliment and I still get light headed on legs and back days. That workout takes a lot of effort from some major muscle groups and it's at a rapid pace. Love it.

Thanks everyone for posting about this. I'm starting week 3 and have lost about 10 pounds and my wife has lost almost 5 pounds. I'm dreading week 4 though because I don't want to do that extra day of yoga. I love the plyo though and had that last night. It always gets my heart going.

Did Yoga this morning and I can't say I love it but I like it because it's a challenge and the stretching always feels good.

The 4th week is tough with the Core Syn. but it is good to get away from doing the pull ups. I think during Phase 2 is when I was able to do the Yoga a bit better.
