That finale was awesome. Could this show have gotten any better? Loved the humor in this episode, especially when Garrett got hit with that ray at the end.

I'm curious to see what will happen to Ward. So, is that black dude going to replace Ward on the team? Is Patton Oswalt a clone? Will any of these characters be in the next Avengers movie?

My guess is no.

They are already going without Loki so it's going to be a brave new Avengers world.

My money is on him being a Life Model Decoy. Fury uses these all of the time in the comics. I was actually expecting that to be what was used in Winter Soldier to explain Fury's death.

Yeah I was waiting for that too.

The dialog between Coulson and Fury was top notch last night. I can't believe how much I like this show now. So glad I stuck with it through last fall when I kept forcing myself to watch it.

I am nitpicking here but I thought the dialog between those two seemed a bit forced. I didn't hate it but it didn't seem to come off naturally. Again, I am nitpicking on this but if I had one complaint about the episode, it would be that.

I would agree it seemed forced and actually a little out of place but it still cracked me up.

The writing was real lazy once again. The Ward being a traitor was great a few episodes ago, but rather than turning him into a big bad, or having him double cross Garrett or show some kind of action motivation, they just made him right hand man." Give me Orders!".

This show has suffered from lazy writing. The Coulson one liners are the best part, and that doesn't make a show. Skye is still annoying, May is just a Black Widow clone, and look, we now have a token black character to replace Ward. Ohh yeah, and the Fitz guy didn't reup, so we got rid of him as inconspicuously as possible. Just poor sendoffs all around IMO.

I love comics and the concept of this show, but I am actually far more entertained by DCs cartoons like Young Justice and the Batman titles. You can frankly do super heroes far easier and cheaper in that medium. This show suffers from their inability to spend like a blockbuster or find writers talented enough to compensate for the tighter budgets by writing more varied characters.

Thoughts...?? I was groaning when Garret put himself back together, but that turned out to be pretty funny. No idea what's going on now with Skye's parents...

I enjoyed the episode, but I didn't understand this part at all. What about Garret's body that they took out? It just went completely over my head.

I think the main purpose was the laugh factor. They also could have been playing off of, "cut off the head and two more appear" If I remember my mythology correctly, he had to burn the necks to finally get it to stop growing more.

I'm just going to agree to disagree with you on nearly everything you have said in this post. Like seriously.. everything.

If you think this show is well written there is no hope for you. I have seen so much better in my time it makes me cringe to watch this. Joss Whedon was able to get more character out of a cheerleader fighting vampires. The writers could have done so much more here.
