He absolutely showed flashes of an elite offensive player last season.

He just has to get passable on defense. Defense is 90% hustle and 10% positioning. I figure with some effort and coaching he can have both of them.

The good news is that, on defense, a lot of the problem was related to not understanding where to be at any given time.

When do the newcomers on the team get numbers -- or do they have them already?

It is fixable and teachable through coaching. It can be taught/Terrence can work to learn it.

Not something like...

He is 5'9" and 140 pounds and will never be able to guard Big 12 players.

Yeah, that was my point. It was not due to his physical lack of ability. It was due to his knowledge of our system and late reactions due to that lack of knowledge.

Bovada won’t let me put any more money on the Clones to win it all next year so I doubt I have realistic expectations :) Let’s just say I expect our odds to be much better than 200-1 by the start of the tourney next year

I don't agree with much of that. My list would start with KU and KSU, and then a lot of teams mixed together real close. WV, TT, Texas and Baylor are too high. We are too low.

Yeah that looks almost solely based on last year with a couple exceptions. I expect those to change.

I do not understand the K-State love.

They return everybody yeah, but they went 10-8 in the Big 12.

They were #44 nationally in net rating last season. Texas was better (#38).

They got past a #8 Wookie, #16, a disinterested #5 Kentucky, and lost to #11 Loyola-Chicago.

They do not have much coming in. Brucie is still their coach.

I think we might be overrating the tournament run and/or the spankings they gave us.

I think they will be somewhere in the #10 to #6 range.

I have them #3 or #4 in the conference.

KU is a clear #1, and I think WVU, TTU, and ISU could get past KSU.
