You said they would not be able to inbound to someone and the ball and pass it to a shooter with 2.2 left in time to get a shot off.
2 things, first with the Baylor game, I understand it was not the same spot, but the clock doesn’t start with the ball in the air so clearly, you can make a pass, and get a shot off with 2.2 seconds.
Secondly, in one of the most famous shots in NCAA tourney history, Bryce Drew in 1998 had a play where they threw it from the baseline with 2.5 seconds (yes I know, before a stupid comment from you, it’s not 2.2) but he got the pass with 2.5 and got the shot off with a full second left on the clock, so yea, you can get a shot off from a pass on the baseline with 2.2 seconds with a 2 people touching the ball, one of those people making a pass.
Please explain in your infinite wisdom again, how that’s not possible, when it’s literally happened.
