It sucks cuz it likely cost us a #1 seed. We all knew @AZ, @KU and @HOU were going to be very tough games. To have one of them in our grasp and lose it really hurts.
The game was pretty much lost when Love hit the miracle 3 pointer to tie it. Road teams rarely win in OT ( ISU vs TTU game notwithstanding). So then we lose when he makes the shot?
Looks like itYou think a Shead-less UH team is better?
We’ll see.Such a bummer, wanted a conference title so bad and now it's probably out of reach.
1 seed would obviously be cool and a great accomplishmentIt sucks cuz it likely cost us a #1 seed. We all knew @AZ, @KU and @HOU were going to be very tough games. To have one of them in our grasp and lose it really hurts.
For the people questiong how the team handled the end of regulation situation start watching at the 55 second mark. That answer, and more importantly look, is for you.
Well yeah, but he's talking about playing better throughout the whole game, which is something you can say about any game really. If we had shot free throws better or turned the ball over less throughout the whole game we would have won, and Arizona could say if they hadn't shot the ball so poorly from 3 they would have won. But that's not what everyone has been debating for the last 2 days. Everyone's been complaining that Jefferson should have purposefully missed his second free throw or we should have defended the play differently. That's what he addressed in his answer. You can tell yourself "Well secretly TJ really agrees with me" if you want, but look at his response and body language. I don't think so.He said he wouldn't change anything in his public response, but I would bet he has some changes in mind if a similar situation arises. I really like what he said about removing chance from the equation.
They have a better Team this year, yes.You think a Shead-less UH team is better?
