Tonight showed that getting garbage minutes on buy game blowouts wasn’t necessary for Watson to be ready to contribute if needed. 5 Rebs in 10 minutes and solid D is all we need from him. We have plenty of offensive firepower this year.

We didn't really play great but KU is one of the best defensive teams in the country by most stats. They been giving up less than 60 points a game in big 12 play. We didn't have one of our best scorers and got meh type of offensive games from Gilbert and Jefferson, basically nothing from the guys you mentioned, only 4 from Chat, turned the ball over 13 times but we still put up 74 on them.
Houston is #1, KU #3, ISU #5 on KenPom defensive.

Leaving the game tonight, walking past KU players and family. Zeke Mayo and family were debating if Hilton was louder than phog Allen.

Zeke said Hilton was louder

I thought the crowd was pretty pedestrian tonight.
Ya I actually felt I needed to justify to my friend why the crowd wasn't very loud compared to most Kansas games. 1; Self did a master class controlling the crowd 2; ISU was clearly better than them and it was a sleeper hold most of the game.

We turned it over 3 times in the first 5 mins of the 2nd half and that was our only scoring drought against this tough defense. Once we stopped turning it over, it was still tough to score, but we never went more than 2 possessions without points.
