Well fellow fans, on that note...
I woke up yesterday morning around 2:30 am with a nasty case of the norovirus, so I didn't make it down to the game after all, sorry to say. I had planned to meet my brother in Denver and then go up to Boulder for it. Thankfully he was still able to use my tickets, so neither they nor the money I paid for them went to waste. But I don't get CBS Sports Network on my cable package, so I couldn't even watch it. As it was, I was in bed by 7:30 last night. Feeling much better today thankfully. That norovirus is no joke. I hadn't been that sick in a long, long time.
Wow! Just finishing watching the game. The 'overturned' out of bounds was entirely incorrect. Colorado players left hand was on the floor "out of bounds" while he touched it with his right hand. Who touched it last, at that point, is completely irrelevant. Crazy, after video review, they reversed that.
These early road wins are the toughest, later in the year teams start to quit and you can pick em off easier. This was Colorado's early super bowl.
Which is probably why we beat them by 28 on a neutral court with all their players. Not sure what argument you are trying to make.
In addition to the slightly less O2 (I'm sure that can make a difference), the air is just thinner. That could make the shooting more inaccurate, I suppose. We were 4/18 from long range.

I very much appreciate it the win. Colorado is back in the fold, always a tough place to play. But what is tougher is this team. Poor shooting from outside and too many mice ball turnovers and we still won by 10 on the road. Love that we hit our throws.

Sorry to hear that. Three kids at home and the dreaded norovirus is a landmine waiting to be stepped on. 2 years ago it wipe out our family one by one. I was the last to get it. It was like being in a slow motion wreck.
Also sorry to hear. The flu is a b!tch to begin with and Covid seems to increase that by a factor of 10 (or much more, with all the deaths). I've been very lucky not to have had it, yet.

Gilbert had been playing at an all American level, we have the best 6th man in the country, and one of the best point guards in the country. Jefferson is continually getting better and is a beast. We dominated on the boards, couldn’t shoot worth ****, on the road at a venue we hardly win, and still won by 10. Exactly what are you ******** about?
A very hot Cincinnati team lost in Manhattan to a very struggling Kansas State team. Just shows how incredibly difficult it is to win in the road in the Big 12.

I think we really have a 1A, 1B and 1C in goto scoring options in Gilbert, Jones and Jefferson. Heck, put Milan in there at 1D
Remember, Milan has hit a game-winning buzzer-beater. This team has a legitimate 5 go-to bucket getters. And the start of the 2nd half was a conscious decision to get Jackson into the flow. At some point TJ might tell the guards to just throw it up off the board and let Chatfield go get it!

The Cyclones are averaging 87.7 points per game which is 7th in Division 1, and I believe would be the second most in school history. The school record is 90.2 points by the 87-88 team that started hot and was ranked as high at #10 in the AP poll before proceeding to lose 7 conference games in a row. That team won 4 out of its last 5 regular season games to make the tournament despite a 6-8 regular season conference record. The 87-88 team scored 100 or more points in 8 games including against these big-name schools: Texas, Purdue (#2 ranked, on the road), New Mexico, Creighton, Iowa (#7 ranked, Lafester game), Nebraska & Missouri (#15 ranked). I was there and I can tell you that was a very fun season except for the 7-game losing streak.

This is a WeWill question. Assuming we retain the five guys currently in the rotation next year. Are we able to spend big on one transfer or do the guys returning limit our reach?
