In addition to the slightly less O2 (I'm sure that can make a difference), the air is just thinner. That could make the shooting more inaccurate, I suppose. We were 4/18 from long range.

I remember golfing in CO once. I felt like I could hit a 600 yard drive!

No, the ball has too much mass to be affected by the air being thinner. But, I can attest to it causing players from lower altitudes to tire more easily. I remember trying to walk up a hill and having to rest half-way up, and that was when I was running long distance races. Very thankful for having a deep bench.
