Ari asked Tim F about the supposed spying this morning on Big 12. Tim said it was odd, Tang merely asked T.J. to look into it and ISU blew this up, and as fast as it blew up it evaporated. McCall went on about the assistants should have been 100% sure about it before bringing it to the attention of the coach as don't need these distractions. Tim couldn't help himself and said they only reported what they were told but then said there were texts about this and that person was sitting there, whatever that means. But, ISU is supposedly the one who keeps driving this story. LOL.

LOL. Wut?

I think someone is messing with you. Having lived in Johnson County KS since '96, I call BS on nearly everything you just said. In my daughter's school, probably half the juniors and seniors work and I can only think of one of her friends (male or female) that don't. Several work at fast food places and I've never heard of anyone busing in workers from KC (and I know quite a few franchise owners). If that's being done, that's more of an anomaly than the norm.

I have never once heard of KU being called Johnson County West, but even if someone did, ok I guess? There are a lot of KU students that come from JOCO, but that's going to be the same in nearly every state university. I imagine KState gets more rural kids based on the majors they offer, but there are a ton of KU AND KState grads here and a high number of local kids go to both.
Just reporting info from 2 girls who probably reflect whatever the crowd they run with observe. Both girls are now KU grads as was their mother. Beyond them, I’ve heard KU referred to as JOCO West many times including by sports reporters, which is not in a negative sense. Lots of CF posters don’t realize how close Lawrence is to KC and how the Big 12 tournament is a truly a home game which was my point.

What was it?

I'm also curious. Based on the reactions, I would like to know what this deleted tweet was about.
It was a tweet from a couple years ago, saying something to the effect that Tang is and would be a better coach than TJ, and that he would have the program in a much better position/shape in a couple years than TJ does.

Wish I would have screenshot it.

ISU fans would never do this,

undeservingly. This story is still on Tang and the KSU fans who made false accusations.

K-State loses again tonight. Too bad.

The Dai Dai Ames dude from K-State with a vicious clothes line of the Texas guard. Ref went automatic flagrant 2 without even going to the monitor. Tang now in thug life mode.
