She had to skip "synergy" to get two "globals" in there! She might as well have dropped a “synergy” in there.

Check the replies to this to see not only some of the worst graphic design ideas you’ll ever come across, but also some of the most boot-licking fawning slobbering over how great a guy Elon is you’d ever want to wish you never saw.

Lots of companies have done it (Toyota and LG to name a couple). Not sure what the big deal is. It’s engaging your user base and it gets the job done. Plus the mockery ones are fun too.Crowd sourcing new logos for a complete rebrand is one of the dumbest things I've ever seen. It's almost like he's not actually a genius.
Well I had to look that up. For Toyota are you talking about the contest in 1936? The world is a little different now. Large companies pay 3rd parties massive amounts of money for rebranding services and they do it for a reason. It's not something a typical corporation would do on a whim anymore.Lots of companies have done it (Toyota and LG to name a couple). Not sure what the big deal is. I guess I don’t see the problem, it’s his company and he’s having fun with a logo. Many have done it before. I get why people take runs at his public statements from time to time but this seems like a silly deal to be up in arms with. Some definitely not most of the logos have been kind of neat and very artistic. Some downright hilarious.Well I had to look that up. For Toyota are you talking about the contest in 1936? What’s wrong with it? He gets sent a logo he likes he goes with it. If he doesn’t he goes elsewhere.Well I had to look that up. For Toyota are you talking about the contest in 1936? Or maybe he’s spent the money on it and it’s all ready. Maybe he’s just having fun to see if someone comes up with a better logo. Maybe someone who knows the logo “sends it in”. I think you’re reading too much into this, and I’m assuming you don’t make more money than him.A billionaire running a company into the ground and the solution is to beg for free labor. Nothing there sticks out for you?
There’s a reason companies spend money on this sort of thing, and it’s not because they don’t like money.

I’m cash flow positive, does that mean I win?Or maybe he’s spent the money on it and it’s all ready. Maybe he’s just having fun to see if someone comes up with a better logo. You make a bunch of stuff up and then tell others they're reading too much into it? What he's doing doesn't make any sense, but some have a reflexive need to defend everything he does. He's not some genius savant.Or maybe he’s spent the money on it and it’s all ready. Maybe he’s just having fun to see if someone comes up with a better logo. The crowd sourcing for a new logo isn't the genius. It's the fact he's got the world talking about it.Crowd sourcing new logos for a complete rebrand is one of the dumbest things I've ever seen. It's almost like he's not actually a genius.
Hasn't the company's value lost billions? This seems like he just got an idea to rebrand at the dinner table and ran with it without thinking it through.I for one am happy that the first story of the day on CNBC is about Twitter changing it's name. If name changes are the most talked about events, things are going pretty well.
The company lost billions before Elon as well right? So the biggest story of the day in financial markets is that a company is possibly changing its name? I don't have a clue if it's a good idea or not but it's his company and he's been somewhat successful in the past.Hasn't the company's value lost billions? It’s true, the economy is rolling along very well. It looks we may actually land that “soft landing” where we wrangle inflation down without a recession. Times are good.I for one am happy that the first story of the day on CNBC is about Twitter changing it's name. If name changes are the most talked about events, things are going pretty well.
Was J&J a train wreck before rebranding? The value of Twitter has decreased drastically, advertisers are fleeing and the proliferation of hate speech on the site is way, way up. All the while the user base of a competitor is skyrocketing. Other than that things are going great I guess. The company lost billions before Elon as well right? Last year the following happened:
Johnson & Johnson rebranded its consumer products business by creating a stand-alone company called Kenvue.
J&J is worth around 500 billion. Twitter is worth around 15 billion.
How many new stories did you hear about J&J?
