I thought the Florida A&M loss was when it was crystal clear, but glad we are in better times. This year has blown away my expectations.
Eh, he’s a mile better than Shaka. This team under Shaka wouldn’t be doing near as well. I agree though beard is an a hole.
Beard is nothing like Prohm. Prohm can’t coach, beard can.
when the teams started playing each other 7 of the ten teams were in top 27 of AP pole and 3 top ten.
Our resume is objectively better than Michigan State with same record and better vs each shared opponent but watch us be ranked 5 spots lower.
Didn't see the clapping. Camera was on Beard. When they cut back to TJ, Carr & Hunter were standing together, then the ref came toward them & Carr started walking back to his bench. We saw the drama with Beard; looks like only the folks that were there saw the clapping.
100% will happen. They beat bad Minnesota team by two them lose at home to terrible Northwestern team. We get f**led by one at KU and beat #21. We will drop and they will stay put.
I mean, there's a reason some experts are picking 8 of the 10 Big 12 teams to make the tournament. This conference is stacked.
Beard got pissy a couple times when TJ was talking with the refs. He kept stareing over at TJ looking all pissy, even when he should have been coaching his team in a timeout.
This was a really good moment for the refs. They are trying their hardest to let TexASS back in the game. They call ISU and Hunter for "a 10 sec. violation" here! Really? I counted the seconds after Ref gives Gabe the ball. Ref calls the 10 sec. violation at about the 7-8 second mark (my count) of Hunter trying to get it across. Unbelievable!
Right before this, Gabe is yelling for time-out, at about 1:21:17! The ref ignores him! Brockington gets tied up. ISU keeps the ball on the possession arrow. Too bad refs on try 1. So they get us on try #2!

Not hearing the time out is inexcusable. I could almost excuse it if it were on the road where you could blame crowd noise, but our crowd is not loud in that moment when it’s our ball.
that said, I am not sure how this rule works. Some of the allotted 10 seconds to get across half court had already passed. Shot clock did not reset with the jump ball. Does anyone know the actual rule here? Should shot clock and, accordingly, the backcourt clock restart after a jump ball when possession stays with the same team?
