Arizona football message boards are dead. For a team that hasn't seen a bowl game in a decade, they sure aren't very excited to go to one this year.

Consider that it was M. Stoops' first HC job. I'm guessing he's learned a few lessons. He's familiar with BigXII country and Iowa. He's recently been out on the recruiting trail. He has a staff in place and can hire replacements for those ACs he's not crazy about.

We should look more at his record this year than previouis years.

Plus, brother Bob might toss a few "look at this kid" suggestions his way.

I see positives.

I have no idea who will be hired or why JP is looking at certain people. What I do now is that I am an Iowa State fan and have been for 45 years through some of the worst teams ever(and the worst coachs) and I will continue to be an Iowa State fan whoever is hired. One thing I've learned is that it is pretty stupid to make statements like "he will never win here" or "all the fans will hate him" can come back to bite you. If we could tell the future we would be hired to make the gameplan. And we would be unblieveablly rich. JP is not going to hire someone who has more downside than up. remember his job is on the line.
