How weird would that be for his kids? One week ago you were planted in a house and school then to be uprooted again. Almost like quickly pack all your things and leave town.
Probably to be uprooted again after he is fired in 3 years.

The best thing is if the players blame GC and not ISU. If they really are upset with GC, the best way to prove him wrong is to stay at ISU and show that they can win without him. They had the talent, coaching was the problem. I hope that a lot of the players see it this way.

What exactly does a coach say in this meeting? How do they present this thing?

Also, revkah and I were wondering last night just how jaded these players must be when they see how these programs are really built. How do they take this stuff after these meetings?

I took part in a meeting very similar to this in high school. We had a coach very similar to Chizik, big name and resume, who said he was going to turn everything around. He departed for a Texas high school football job after two years.

In the meeting, he went on and on how great it was down in Texas and the opportunity for him. I have no doubt Chizik will say similar things. I'm sure he'll tell everyone to keep their commitment.

Then after it ends... You're still a fly and realize changing species was a ridiculous mistake....

Yeah being a fly really isn't a good look...

It's not that bad. I moved alot growing up (8 different schools) and after a while you kinda like it.

You have to wonder what Chizik could possibly say to the team. I know Mac went in after he was let go and told the players to stick with their commitments and all that. That would be pretty hypocritic if Chizik went in and told them to stick with their commitments. Any new word on if he's still trying to snake a few of the players along to Auburn with him?

Well gang, I know I suck, but I have bigger fish to fry down South. When the boogie calls, you must run. Yes, the money and weather is better, but this is business and the man is being the man. Hold tight. Call you in a couple. Stop in if you are in the area. I need running backs. See ya around.
