Evidently Bolton did not want to play for TJ, Good Luck Rasir and I wish you the best

Uh, no, he wanted to stay. This was a team decision.

Edit to be very clear: Rasir wanted to stay, made some strides to mend fences with the other players, but the team as a whole decided his fate. Good kid but not a great teammate and with a change in culture being critical to the future, he was voted off the island. Period, end of story.

This isn't on TJ or on Rasir, or anybody individually - it it what was deemed necessary by all involved (with the exception of Rasir).

Something tells me ISU isn't going to be very good at basketball next season.
We will not be good. Thinking we are going to be good would be being insanely optimistic. It’s not insanely optimistic to think we won’t see significant improvement in a variety of ways next year. Losing Bolton doesn’t change that.

Strictly speaking in terms of basketball, I definitely don't see this as a loss.

But yeah it will be brutal. I'll watch to try to support the players and for positive trends in coaching.

That's rough from Rasir's perspective. I hope he learns from whatever the issues were and does well at his next stop.

That makes me feel very sad for Rasir. Obviously if he wasn't a good teammate it's partially his own fault but being pushed out of a place you wanted to stay by your own teammates has to feel pretty ******. Hope he finds a good home and can learn from his mistakes.

Thank goodness TJ has the intestinal fortitude for the job. Another positive sign for the future

I am not questioning the decision. But I hope the right decision was made considering that, from an outside perspective, I'm not sure if I would trust anyone's opinion on that team considering they all seemed pretty dysfunctional.

Team had 2 wins, kids choosing to leave for whatever reason, is not necessarily a bad thing.
Players (staying and leaving) and program need a re-boot.

I’d imagine you’d have to be a pretty awful teammate to be asked to leave when you’re an all big 12 player who is also all academic big 12 on a team whose apr is struggling
I wonder if anyone on here has any specific details on this. Had to be something bad .
