The problem is you can’t even remotely compare TJ currently and Steve Prohm of Murray State. TJ is a much better candidate now than Prohm was when he was hired.
You can make pluses and minus about every potential hire. Like I said there is no obvious answer this time. You and others continue to trash TJs resume using unrealistic criteria. Your holding TJ to he has to be the obvious no doubt choice. He definitely isn’t that this time but he is a really good option that people should consider.
Please show your work.
Prohm needs to be fired and I'd be okay with TJ coming on, but you sound like a moron when you say that TJ is a much better candidate than Prohm was at that time. Prohm had a .782 winning percentage in 4 years as a head coach. TJ has a 0.623 winning percentage in 5 years as a head coach.
Maybe TJ is a better recruiter, but does TJ have a recruiting pedigree as good as Isaiah Cannon, Cameron Payne, Talen Horton-Tucker and Tyrease Halliburton?
Even if you grant that TJ is a better recruiter, there are many more assistant coaches that have a better history of pulling in talent than TJ.
I'm not bashing TJ. I would be satisfied if they hired him, but don't feed me this Malarky that TJ is a much better candidate than Prohm was.
