Uncanny, really. Doesn't matter what year it is, who the coach is, who the players are, etc. ISU will snatch defeat from the jaws of victory like no other school in America.

Last year was a great year and we dropped a game to TCU. It was an away game, the conditions sucked and the fought to the end. I grieved, now I'm moving on
The offensive play calling is just mind boggling. Do not understand it at all.
Like many, many teams. Saturdays are filled with teams that snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
4 weeks ago, we snatched victory from the jaws of defeat. And I'd say over the last 3 years we've had as many lucky wins and unlucky losses.
It's so stupid. Campbell has plenty of faults, like pretty much any coach. I think most of us should be able to look at his faults and decide if he is worth it. And we should also realize that some of his faults have gotten better. It's not a linear thing, but things do improve.

All because Prohm doesn't have a play to get the ball inbounds.
One sequence comes to mind where one play complimented or played off of another, and it was just a successful run to set up a nice hitch type of thing in the flats.
No, beating Ferentz first Iowa team was not an accomplishment. That team was absolutely hot garbage. His second team was a bit better but still pretty bad.
Granted he got it done against bad Iowa teams, but beating Fry in his last game against ISU was a nice symbolic win.
Mac may of had some hot garbage teams but man do I miss those “we won the 3rd quarter” pressers.
Sorry, I meant that first iowa team that Mac beat was terrible. One of the other posters called Mac ending the 15 game streak a great accomplishment. That UI team won one game.
