I'd have to think a while to remember how many ISU games I've seen with full-game consistency on both offense and defense vs. a relevant opponent. Yes, there were flaws -- penalties, early INT, bad day for place-kicking.

Best game I've ever watched ISU play and that was with pour special teams. That was better than Knott's going away performance against Baylor.

I'm starting to think some on here have no idea how much real pain and anguish so many have suffered, and I myself am on the young side of that.

There's been years when just getting 4 wins felt like an incredible feat.

Maybe in 3 years if ISU is consistently a top 25ish program, hold off. For now though? Go nuts folks.

This cannot be overstated. Our program has been bad, but not just bad, miles behind even the mediocre programs in our conference. My uncle told me in 2000 to savor every moment because years like that don't happen at ISU. He was right.

Yell at the TV, storm the field, do whatever without shame because bigger programs are going to start throwing a lot of money at our staff. Campbell could stay, but we don't know. This is as healthy as the program has been since the 70s. I was not even close to being alive. This is fun.

Side note: Awesome to see Montgomery at 100 percent or something close. He was a game changer and made it look easy.

Did Peavy even play? That’s how I know he is so good. I never see him

D'Andre Payne as well. I would argue he's the most underrated player on our team. Has been solid since he got here two years ago. Always makes a solid tackle and they rarely throw his way because of how stingy he is in coverage.

Iowa has been doing that for a few years. At the start of the 4th quarter, to the song "Hypnotize". I'm guessing others do as well but not sure.
