No way that happens with the injuries and a freshman point guard. Every win pumps this optimism, just to be crushed in the next game.

8 is just so normal for good teams, anyway. It works just fine.
There will be a lot of arm-on-arm action when Carter and Young go against each other.
Greenberg on ESPN just predicted 8 from the Big 12. A strong finish could do it.
8 is absolutely fine as long as it's the right 8.
Having only 8 to choose from if they're not complimentary gets dicey.

He also had some very high praise for Prohm. Said something to the effect of that he wasn't quite sure if there's another coach in the country who gets as much of out of his players as Prohm does.
This team is too up and down (understandably) for me to think about the tourney. They high is REALLY high but their low is woofsville.
I didn't catch today's game but I'm still excited to have the season be interesting by mid-February. It didn't have to be that way.

Kool Aid drinking is back after every win.
The same msgs after Tech win, WVU win,.......I like Prohm, nice guy, just not great as some people claim he is.
It is pretty impressive that the last place team in the Big 12 has four conference wins after 12 games. There really are no gimmies.
