Whatd Johnny use to say, "what's it matter what he measures without shoes? He's not playing barefoot"

I love Johnny but this has never made any sense to me. Niang doesn't play without shoes but neither does anyone else. It's a relative measurement either way.

So the question is, how much does this increase his chances of playing in the pros? I don't know if it effects his chances of getting drafted at all, but how much does it help his chances of getting signed?
What this are you referring to? The overall combine or something more specific?

The overall combine will solidify what scout's already know, but will clarify and have a big impact on NBA coaches and other staff members or owners who do not follow the players all season and may be seeing them the first time. This includes the interviews which can have a high value to certain organizations. For a player like Niang, it can open more doors.

Think it was only meant to be funny... Like Yogi Berra but with an edge. Orr was funny as hell.

What we are all failing to realize is it comes back to hand size.

I really think Niang will find his way into the draft in the back half of the 2nd round. He is an intriguing prospect and his scoring potential will get somebody to take a flyer on him. It looks like Chicago owns pick #48. That would not surprise me one bit

Fred would be run out of town. No way a cyclone gets drafted by the Bulls, regardless of if he was a good fit or not.

Who knows? But I doubt Fred will make that call. They seem to be forcing him to take Charlie Henry off the coaching staff.

Chicago already has Mirotic and McDermott. Add in the ISU factor and it's almost certain he won't be drafted by the Bulls.

I hope Georges get's drafted and makes a team, he would make a great teammate and would do very well at the PR end of the business for his club.

Someone will like his offensive game too much. Late 1st, likely early 2nd IMO

No way he gets drafted in the 1st round. I really hope he gets drafted period. But the reality is Georges will be hard pressed to get drafted at all. I believe he will sign with an NBA team as an undrafted free agent.

I think he has the possibility of being drafted in the 2nd round by a team that needs to improve its offense. If he goes un-drafted, I find it hard to believe that Fred wouldn't take a chance on him as a free agent signing. He knows what he can do, and how to get the best out of him.

There are definitely things that Georges needs to improve if he plays in the NBA, but there aren't that many players in the draft who don't need to improve on something.

Hines reporting Georges has 10 interviews with teams. I'm betting his personality and basketball IQ will endear him to a at least a couple of GMs.
