Ugh. It is quite sad that many ISU fans don't understand/realize how we used to rock KC. The KC Star used to sing the praises of ISU every year and our invading horde.
My first tourney was the Sam Hill travel call against KU in the final. Those turds got all the calls, even back then.
Your first experience with the Baylor upset was the lowest moment (or so I thought), until we doubled down on the crap sandwich with Hampton a week later.
Never missed a tourney in KC. Travel safe everyone, weather should be nice, and we need to make our presence felt once again.
Oh 2001... The Tinsley point shaving days. I have always wondered just how much money was wagered on Baylor and Hampton in those last 2 games.
