Thursday Games suck; it can't be worth this amount of money to ruin the Sat experience for many fans who travel, let alone those who have jobs and family commitments during the week. Hope JP never agrees again.

Have you not paid attention to anything the last 2 years with realignment? TV tells us when and where. This is GREAT news for our program.

What stinks is we only have 6 home football games and with Texas on Thursday night means we only have 5 Saturday home games. I would be more ok with it if we had 7 home games this year.

This is SO awesome. My brother is back from China during this time. He and his wife could not attend if it was on Saturday due to a conflict - now they can go. He got to one game last season and she has not been to a game since the '11 season.

So excited!

Good for program national attention. Bad for fans that need to drive into the game and have to work on Thursday and Friday. Tailgating is one of the best experiences of the fall and this completely ruins it.

Thursday night games are awesome. One every few years isn't going to kill anyone. It's not like this is a yearly occurrence anymore.

I'm going to do some looking. I wonder if there's any chsnce one of our Nov conference games can be switched to our open dates in Sept.

If there is another conference team with the same bye week.

This decision really bothers me. I have to make a 2 hour drive and then I also get no tailgating. I also wouldn't mind if we had more home games but that's not the case. Yes im being selfish. This is almost as bad as when we played in Kansas City and counted as a home game for us.

Man, some of you are such downers. Yes, it may be inconvenient for you (and it is for me too) but quit your belly-aching. It is good for the program. Beat Texas on ESPN and get some positive publicity early in the season.

Looks like I'll need to try and sell my ticket. I have a meeting that day after work until 6:30. Doubt my boss would want me tailgating before my meeting.

Some of us have to drive farther. I'm not mad. It is what it is. The AD has to make decisions on what is best for the AD all the time. With kids in school it is doubtful that I will make it down for this one.

This may be old news, but while checking out a link on the OSU game in a Oklahoma paper in another story they were announcing OU playing a week night game as well.

Hopefully we'll at least compete with them this year. Our games against UT have been a joke lately.

Thursday games are great. I wouldn't want more than one per year, but I love having one. It gives me more options for doing things on fall weekends.

I also would be fine with all of our road games being on weeknights.

However, I'll admit that part of it is having a job with a lot of flexibility that allows me to basically push up free time when and where I see fit. I'll take Thursday off, head down to DSM/Ames on Wednesday night, and be back at the office by noon on Friday, with a whole weekend to look forward to. Perfect.
