Also please don't stop at the homemade ice cream shack in Jewell known as Sweet Treats afterwards. I like immediate service, and not having to deal with flavors selling out.

Been wanting to check out Pickles for a while now, have heard good things.

there is no accounting for taste in pizza -- my family hates anything chicago style deep dish or thick crust - we love the papa murphy take n bake --- to each their own i guess

For a chain I think the best pizza is Nick and Willies by Jordan Creek. Plus the owner is a nice guy, even if he is a hawkeye fan.

I think all of the Happy Joe's in extreme Eastern Iowa are good! It was started in Bettendorf!

I had Torino's Pizza in Fairfield on RAGBRAI once and it was very good.

mabe's is good

Zoey's is good

Tomaso's is CR is okay, but pretty pricey

Like great plain buffalo, but it might be because I only get it once every couple years

Best deal on carryout pizza? The Sam's Club in Cedar Rapids will cook one of their take and bake pizzas for 30 cents or something like that. Baked 16 inch pizza for $8-9, and lots of toppings.

Biggest travesty ever was when Sweet Treats stopped making their ice cream sandwiches.

Geno's in Preston is the best pizza I ever had. I can't wait to head back to Camanche in a few weeks so I can go to Geno's. Whenever we head back that way, we always stop there.

I love me some Old Chicago double deckeroni, but I think I might have to vote for Zoey's in Marion.
