For all of you bagging on Tebow saying things like this:

"he isn't a good qb, he gets lucky, the rest of the team does it for him"

"I get sick of hearing he is just a gamer, just a winner, etc".........

He is a lot like our own Jared Barnett. Not impressive stats, not overly impressive mechanics, but gets the job done and has a lot of intangibles that lead to success. So if you are hating on Tebow for this, please start hating on Barnett too.

I caught the ESPN documentary on Tebow this past week when they replayed it. After watching it I don't know how you don't become a fan of the guy. The guy just works his *** off, and I think his teammates are responding to the fact that he wants to win and is willing to do the work it takes to be a winner.

That is stupid. yes it does take away from that fact when the media makes it seem like, see Tebow just wins. Tebow didn't win the game for the Broncos. He only played decent when the bears went to prevent. He was sackes what like 5 or 6 times. completed fifty percent of his passes. Threw an interception. The reason the Broncos won the game. Stupid play by Barber, if he doesn't go out of bounds the Broncos don't win it. Also, if Barber doesn't fumble the ball the Bears likely win. Another point, who forced the fumble? Tebow? no the defense did. Who kicked the 50 plus yeard field goals? Tebow? No the kicker did.

Added Bonus. They were playing the Bears at home without Cutler and Forte with Caleb freakin Hanie as the starter.

So please stop with the Tebow garbage. If it was any other player besides Tebow they wouldn't be talking about QB play, they would be talking about how great the broncos defense has been playing and how they have a good game managing QB.

If you have ever praised Jared Barnett for winning us ball games, you my friend are a hypocrite.

This is also a stupid comment. Saying someone did a good job or played a good game is a little different than the Tebow love fest that goes on and the over the top love affair of his fans. And even if I said, Barnett did a great job of managing the game today that is not being a hypocrite. Tebow does a good job with his limited passing ability to manage the game. They run the ball alot, let the defense do their work, and he doesn't turn the ball over a lot. The problem comes in when people start acting like he is some kind of amazing NFL QB. He isn't, Trent Dilfer was a good game manager and you didn't anyone raving on and on about him, and getting crazy media attention. It is only because he is Tebow that people are making such a big deal.

Nobody has mentioned on TV that the damn onside kick was executed perfectly and somehow the broncos failed at getting that ball. They kinda shot themselves in the foot there to go along with the Bears miscues. Some of that evened out, although the Bears was worse.

This site was a Jared Barnett love fest during that win streak.

And Demetrius Thomas dropped a long TD in the 3rd quarter. Plus a blocked 28 yard kick. Both teams shot themselves in the foot plenty but the Bears did it in more crucial situations.

He reminds me a ton of Collin Klein from KSU as well.

Exactly. I have a hard time understanding the haters. The guy is unconventionally successful, a hard worker, and genuine. I get easily annoyed by bible beaters and in your face religious types, but I don't think Tebow himself is that in your face. The media really plays it up and draws it out of him at times. He seems like a guy that just has strong religious beliefs, and I don't see him shoving them down other people's throats.

I don't think I'd enjoy spending an afternoon hanging out with Tebow and watching football, but I just don't get rooting for his failure at all. The guy just keeps making idiots out of the haters.

It doesn't take watching many Broncos games to realize that the coaches and team aren't doing a whole lot to help out his passing numbers. They RARELY pass on anything but third down, making it really tough to catch the defense off guard or in a bad situation. Not one of the Bronco's receivers or TE's would start or maybe even PLAY for any other team in the league...

Why is it if you try to honestly evaluate the guys talent you get labelled a "hater?" It's obvoius he is not a complete QB and needs to work on his game to make himself a better QB in the NFL.

No one's denying this. However, there are a lot of people who obviously want him to fail and are annoyed by the success tha Denver has had with Tebow at the helm, and the fact that he plays very, very well with the game on the line.

Decker and Thomas certainly would. They don't have a TE, but those receivers are NOT that bad. They get behind guys and get open quite a bit. They have dropped a fair share of balls, but I wouldn't call Tebow exactly a marksman when it comes to making balls easy to catch. (Thomas was injured most of the year and is just now fully healthy and has looked good other than a few drops yesterday).

Did you not see what happened when they played Miami and kept the same offense that Orton was running? How about Detroit? Tebow was AWFUL. He stood in the pocket for WAY too long and really struggled with not only progressions but accuracy when in the pocket. He is much better outside the pocket and he and the coaches developed (and actually implemented some Florida stuff as well) a new playbook around Tebow. He can't do what most QBs do. But he runs well and he is a good leader. And he doesn't give the ball up too much. He still isn't a good throw and maybe he never will be, but what he DOES do is get the defense to commit more to the run and he gets a little better matchups on the outside.

And, he plays well against a prevent D. We know that.

the broncos run the ball and play great defense. tim tebow is the ultimate role player, and he fully accepts his role. don't turn the ball over and make plays when they count. end of story

Yeah, he has to get those interception numbers way up so he can finally be a "complete" QB like Cam Newton, Phillip Rivers, Christian Ponder, or Matthew Stafford.

What part of "highest yardage 4th Quarter QB in the NFL" tells you that he's not complete?

Please. Give me a guy who hangs in the pocket, delivers hits, gobbles up yards in crunch time, doesn't put his defense or receivers in bad positions, and never quits. There are plenty of "complete QBs" who are helping their team to an early off-season and another bout of high draft picks.

And leave your magical fairy land of "complete" quarterbacks to Madden 2012 and the Green Bay Packers.

But if you don't like to call it "hating," that's fine. Call it what it is.

Football ignorance.

It tells me he must have been pretty ****** in the first 3 quarters to need to throw that much in the 4th. That's what it tells me. I'm not crowning Phillip Rivers because this might have been his worse year yet, but you don't have to throw much in the 4th when you are up 20.
