I'm going to say Horne b/c of the past connection and it being the 1st game.

Ill say Money due to his athleticism and need to step up and show that our receiving corp is better than it was last year.

I'm going to say horne, for much of the reason OP stated.

Lenz. I see him stepping up this year.

I would have gone with Reynolds, but I don't think we see much of him Saturday, rehabbing and all.

Darks seems to regress a little every year. I know he was hurt in '09, but he was a non-factor last year after a great '08 campaign. I'd love to see him step up, but I'm just not as optimistic about it.

Horne is a dark horse, but it was obvious in the Spring that he has playmaker potential.

Bump. I like to let people know when I'm right. If I was wrong, I wouldn't bump this thread! :twitcy:

With Darks being eligible this week does that take snaps away from Horne? I hope not, he's clearly a gamer.

I'm sure it will just take snaps from everyone as they will rotate. I liked what I saw from Lenz, Horne, and even West. West got open a couple times and Steele missed him. I'd like to see more 4 WR sets and not 3 WR's with a TE in the slot.

I said Lenz. I really think he is our best receiver.
I heard that Darks has an eye infection or something, and has to wear sunglasses under his helmet. Can't just slap on a visor because you have to petition the NCAA. That would get a little annoying.

Considering how our O-line looked against UNI, I think they need to have a TE on the field who can be shifted in to block if the D is showing blitz.

Never happened. We had Branderhort out in the slots running routes. If it's an obvious passing play we need to get him out and put in a WR. Take advantage of the mismatches

i actually felt like we left quite a few yards on the table vs UNI. Had some open guys get overthrown or not seen.

Last year it seemed like everyone was covered all the time.

I think that could be a good sign..
