Id say attendance was about 6k. Couldve fit everyone in the lower bowl

That's what I thought - we could probably get everybody in the lower bowl and that seats about 6k from previous discussions on here. I sat almost center court in the parquet and had plenty of room to stretch out.

You're complaining about the symptom, not the disease. The traffic management in the lot usually sucks, so that creates the desire for people to leave.

I agree the traffic management is horrible.

Someone asked if they would make people sit back down if it went to OT, I highly doubt they would.

The ushers and management need to do a better job at getting people down into those parquet seats once there is a reasonable amount of time for that seat holder to arrive to the game.

Yes, almost everyone in the balcony could have filled the lower lever, especially considering the large base of open seats behind the baskets. I would say 6500. The crowd was not loud, not much to cheer for until the end. Still, it was nice to leave with a win. This was definitely the lowest attendance for a conference game we have had this year.

I never leave early. I'm of the attitude that players need to play hard for 40 minutes and fans need to cheer hard for 40 minutes. Players need to play hard despite the record and fans should show-up and cheer loud despite the record.

Agreed. It is really quite ironic that people suggest that our team doesn't "play for 40 minutes" when a majority of our fans don't like to "be fans for 40 minutes."

you sir, are 100% wrong. And you are by far the most negative person on CF. Every single post I read from you is something negative and it gets really old. I'm sorry your life sucks so much that you need to take it out on the internet.

I'm not the only person who thought it was about 6k. From prior threads, lower bowl is about 6k and everyone wouldve fit there.

Cyclone Alley was pathetic last night. Keep it up and Pollard probably starts to shrink their sections. Sad that they only pack their sections for Iowa, Texas, KU or a high ranked team in town.

There are also a lot of people saying theres no way it was less than half full. I seriously don't see how you think it was only 6k.
And yes, I've read a TON of your posts, they're everywhere. And ever since I've joined CF I've recognized your picture and almost every comment you make is negative! It's just so annoying! Stop whining and GROW UP!!!!!

Did you only look at CA and the floor? Every section was pathetic last night.

I agree but students don't have as many reasons when thousands of them live just right across the street from Hilton. Its sad how many people are so eager to quit on our teams when we aren't good. Glad that our sports teams don't have that same attitude.

McDermott bball has driven us to this. They have not earned that from the fans, in fact they lost it. Fans are supposed to care more than the team? And the coach?

I am done with ISU bball until I am given a reason to believe. For me, that requires McD be fired or we make an NCAA tourney. I paid way too much money and made that horrible late night ****** off drive back to DSM too many times already, just to watch crappy and uninspiring bball.
