Thanks for reminding me I now have an excuse for coaxing my girlfriend into putting out tonight. Just to be safe...

With the world ending this weekend and all, if you could pick anything anywhere, what would your last meal be?

Mine would be a nice steak, some mashed potatoes, and a cold beer. With a cake/brownie and ice cream for dessert. Probably from 801 Chop House if I'm in Des Moines or one of the many prime steakhouses in Vegas.

prob keep it simple with Chipotle.

pork chops... some nice thick Iowa chops grilled on charcoal like my dad used to make.

...but givent the gravity of the situation, the rapture and all, perhaps The Last Supper with Jesus and the guys might be more appropriate...

A steak from a freshly killed Yak, curly fries from Arbys and a Peanut Butter shake from Hickory Park.

I have to go with a rib-eye, grilled medium rare. A large Bombay Sapphire martini to help cook it the rest of the way in my stomach.

Rock Bottom on University apparently has good chicken fried chicken, comes with white cheddar mashed potatoes. Not sure about the Sam Adams, but they have good beer on tap.

Went with my brother a couple weeks ago, and he was a big fan of it.

I was going to mention Rock Bottom... the "drunk man's burger"

burger, bacon, hashbrowns, egg, lettuce, ranch and ketchup. i think it is really called the 2 AM burger. OH, and gotta love the shoe-string french fries!

I'm going with a charcoal grilled farm grown 14 oz. medium-rare ribeye, with garlic mashed potatoes and gravy, grilled vegetables, a couple of long island iced teas from Cafe Beaudelaire, a 6 pack of Blue Moon, and a 6 pack of Shiner Bock.

That's practical. Then if the world doesn't end, you can make lamp shades out of them.

Lamp shades...I was in Milwaukee a couple of weeks ago, saw a T-shirt: Ed Gein Lampshade company. I laughed out loud, made a fool of myself in the store.

Since Ed Gein is a dated reference: Ed Gein was Jeffery Dahmer before Jeffery Dahmer was Jeffery Dahmer. Both from Wisconsin, BTW.
