Sounds actionable to me. Didn't they buy the tix fair and square? How is it legal for the Squawks to renege?
I'm so confused. A school can just invalidate tickets that someone bought?

The biggest question I had is how there are 200 tickets available to the general public for a conference game. That's the real indictment of the athletic department.
Probably through the fine print on the ticket. Does the fine print hold up in court under these circumstances? (shrug) They should sue the hell out of them to find out.
I was just thinking that they should ride the buses on over anyway and picket the game out in the parking lot. Call out the media. TikTok the snot out of gutless Iowa.

This! There has to be a lawyer willing to take that one for them. Seems like a lay up if just for the publicity.
If they didn't want them there they shouldn't have sold them the tickets. What a ***** move by Iowa, but I'd expect nothing less.
Imma think the NCAA should hear about this. I'm sure the Illini have some lawyers. They should go make Barta sweat.
They mention the reason as something about the billing address being in Champaign. Not sure why that would be an issue.
